In-Person Absentee Voting – Schedule a time: In an effort to ease some of the stress at this time, a schedule has been made to pick a time to in-person absentee vote.  This will help all of us keep numbers down, social distance recommendations in place, as well as allow everyone to participate in the election process for the April 7 Spring Election and Presidential Preference Vote.   Please click on the link and choose a time that works for you.

Emergency Order #12 – Does NOT Eliminate In-Person Absentee Voting

From the Wisconsin Election Commission

* Governor Evers and the Department of Health Servised issued Emergency Order #12 entitled “Safer at Home Order” related to public and priveate activity permitted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

* The Order does not require or authorize municipalities to terminate in-person absentee voting.

* The Governor’s Office has stated that Emergency Order #12 is not inteded to eliminate in-person absentee voting for the Spring Election.  Conducting that activitiy is considered an essential government function and traveling for that purpose by both election officials and voters is permitted.

The Town of Troy is open for in-person absentee voting Monday – Thursday (3/23-3/26 & 3/30-4/2) from 9:00 – 12:30 and Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm
