Become a Town of Troy Park Ranger!

Have fun while serving your neighbors and getting paid! Being a Park Ranger is a part-time job that averages about 10 hours a week. As a Park Ranger, you will collaborate with two other Rangers who share a passion for serving the community while working outside and meeting other Troy Residents

This position pays $18.15 per hour, as well as mileage, and offers flexible days and hours

General Duties Include:

  • Cruising through Glover Park to observe general activity
  • Periodically checking trails, restrooms, and other facilities at Glover Park
  • Monitoring and closing Pemble’s Access beach area (summer only)
  • Surveil Cove Boat Ramp and collect and check for user fees, as well as parking violations
  • Issuse warnings & citations for violations of Town ordinances at all three of our town parks: Glover Park, Cove Boat Ramp, and Pemble’s Access
  • Prepare monthly Park Ranger Report for submission to the Town Clerk’s Office
  • Photograph evidence of ordinance violations
  • General maintenance of park properties
  • Report suspicious activity to St. Croix County law enforcement
