November 3, 2026 General Election-Absentee Voting: VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT GENERAL ELECTION November 3, 2026 Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen, who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, who has resided in the ward or municipality where he or she wishes to vote for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must also be registered in order to receive an absentee ballot. TO OBTAIN AN ABSENTEE BALLOT, YOU MUST MAKE A REQUEST IN WRITING. Contact your municipal clerk and request that an application for an absentee ballot be sent to you for the primary or election or both. You may also request an absentee ballot by letter. Your written request must list your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature. Included with your request for an absentee ballot, you must include a copy of an acceptable form of Photo ID. Special absentee voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined to home or a care facility, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a sequestered juror. If this applies to you, contact the municipal clerk. You can also personally go to the clerk's office or other specified location, complete a written application, provide Photo ID, and vote an absentee ballot during the hours specified for casting an absentee ballot. Military electors should contact the Municipal Clerk regarding the deadlines for requesting or submitting an absentee ballot. The Municipal Clerk will deliver voted ballots returned on or before Election Day to the proper polling place or counting location before the polls close on November 3, 2026. Pemble's Access Rules

Pemble’s Access on the scenic St. Croix River is located near the end of Glenmont Road in the southwest corner of the Town. It offers a sandy, unguarded beach area for relaxing, sunning, and swimming. A portable restroom is available on site.

Hours & Season
Open May 1 through September 30
Hours: 10:00 a.m. until one-half hour after sunset
Closed October through April

Pemble’s Access is also closed when the St. Croix River height is above 683 feet above sea level, as measured at Stillwater, MN. Current river levels can be found on the NOAA Weather.gov website.

Parking
Parking is limited. Please plan accordingly, as the lot may fill. Vehicles must park in appropriately signed areas at the top of the hill; parking on Glenmont Road is not permitted and may result in a ticket.

Rules & Regulations
To help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, the following are not permitted at Pemble’s Access:

Pets of any kind, including dogs, cats, and horses (with the exception of service animals)
Dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, or similar motorized recreational vehicles
Open containers of alcoholic beverages or fermented malt beverages
Illegal drugs or other controlled substances
