Potential Changes to WI Extraterritorial Subdivision Laws

The Wisconsin Legislature is discussing Assembly Bill 885/Senate Bill 873 “Limitations on extraterritorial subdivision ordinances”

Troy Chairperson, Doug Rowen, will be available on February 7, 2026 at the Troy Town Hall from 8:00-10:30 for informal discussions with residents and property owners.

Focused topic will be proposed WI Assembly Bill 885, which, if passed, could give more flexibility to some Troy property owners to subdivide and develop their land to Troy zoning standards.
