ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Coulee Trail Rehabilitation Begins June 23

Starting Monday, June 23, the Town of Troy will begin a roadway rehabilitation project on Coulee Trail, from Forest Rise to County Road U. The project is anticipated to last up to eight weeks, weather permitting.

This work is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local infrastructure and is supported in part by state funding assistance through the Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP).

What to Expect:

  • Traffic Disruptions: While local access will generally be maintained, certain phases of construction will require short-term closures where segments of the road will be impassable.
  • Driveway & Mailbox Access: Access to residential driveways and mailboxes will be maintained, though short delays may occur.
  • Communication: The contractor will make every effort to notify affected properties in advance of any significant access interruptions.
  • General Disruption: Construction activity will result in increased noise, dust, and construction equipment in the area, particularly during excavation and paving operations.

Please plan for occasional delays, lane restrictions, and active work zones along the route. We encourage residents and travelers to use caution, follow posted signage, and allow extra time when driving through or near the construction area.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this needed investment in Coulee Trail.
