As part of the ongoing Coulee Trail rehabilitation project, culvert replacement work will require additional road closures and access changes this week.
Access Changes for Prominence Way and Coulee Trail:
- Thursday, July 10: Work will begin on culvert crossings on the eastern portion of the project, requiring all access to Prominence Way to use Coulee Trail from the west (toward Old Highway 35).
- Friday, July 11: Work will shift to the western crossings, and all Prominence Way traffic will need to use Coulee Trail from the east (toward County Road U).
Driveway Culvert Replacements:
On Monday, July 14, crews are scheduled to replace driveway culverts for properties that have direct access to Coulee Trail within the project limits. The contractor will communicate directly with impacted property owners ahead of time and will coordinate to minimize disruptions to driveway access during installation.
Reminder: Coulee Trail Rehabilitation Project
This project includes rehabilitation of Coulee Trail from Forest Rise to County Road U, and is expected to continue through mid-August, weather permitting.
What to Expect During Construction:
- Traffic Disruptions: Temporary closures, access shifts, and flagging operations will continue through various phases of work.
- Driveway & Mailbox Access: Maintained wherever possible. Temporary driveway closures will be communicated in advance.
- Contractor Coordination: The contractor will make every effort to notify affected residents prior to any planned disruptions.
- General Disruption: Expect increased construction activity, dust, and equipment throughout the corridor during active work periods.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work to complete this necessary road improvement.
