We understand that developing and maintaining community centers is a significant expense for cities, towns, and townships. Many communities are facing difficult decisions as facilities close or transition to operation by YMCAs and other fitness organizations. At the same time, we know local governments work hard to use every dollar as efficiently and effectively as possible to serve their residents.
After thoughtful discussion with our Board of Directors, the YMCA in Hudson is excited to offer a new benefit to your community (my community as well). Beginning this year, we will provide two complimentary Community Passes per year to every resident of the Town of Troy.
Residents simply need to present a valid photo ID at the YMCA in Hudson to receive free access to:
- The pool
- Gymnasium
- Fitness classes
- Wellness and workout areas
Each resident may use this benefit up to two times per year. There is no physical pass required—our system will track usage automatically when they check in.
We are proud to offer this opportunity as a way to support the health and well-being of your residents. The only stipulation we ask is that large groups do not arrive all at once, as this could create capacity challenges within our spaces.
I would appreciate it if you could share the message below with your residents. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss this further.
