Pemble’s Access: Pemble’s Access, 193 Glenmont Rd. in River Falls, is officially closed for the season as of October 1. We’ll reopen for the 2027 season on May 1, weather and water levels permitting. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the beach and access to the beautiful St. Croix River this summer! We hope you made some great memories, and we look forward to seeing you again next season!
Chemical treatment to eradicate existing buckthorn and reduce new growth of buckthorn has been done in the upper northwest section and south section of Glover Park by Habitat by Creation work crew. Please be aware of this chemical application if you are in these areas at Glover Park.
