A small sandbox has been installed by the Public Works crew in the playground area for the “sand digger,” the popular play activity for youngsters. Blue rock sand is now being used to fill the box.
Pemble’s Access: Pemble’s Access, 193 Glenmont Rd. in River Falls, is officially closed for the season as of October 1. We’ll reopen for the 2027 season on May 1, weather and water levels permitting. Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the beach and access to the beautiful St. Croix River this summer! We hope you made some great memories, and we look forward to seeing you again next season!
