Xcel Open House for Powerline Project in Troy

Xcel Energy is proposing to construct a new 115-kilovolt (kV) transmission line connecting the 115 kV line north of River Falls to the 115 kV line north of Hudson. The project would run from the proposed Junction Mill Substation (north of River Falls) to the proposed Sono Junction Substation, and then to the existing Willow River Substation (northeast of Hudson). 

Following feedback Xcel Energy has refined portions of the proposed routes based on community input, engineering studies, and environmental review. The new route options under consideration affect the project area north of the Sono Junction substation. 

They invite you to learn more about the updated route options and share your feedback during an upcoming virtual open house. The session will include a short presentation reviewing the proposed route changes followed by a Q&A period with project representatives.Access.live/xcelenergy.
