Joint Public Statement

City of Hudson and Town of Troy

Cooperative Boundary Plan Process

September 28, 2026

Based on feedback received during the public comment process, the Town and City are discussing changes to the draft Cooperative Boundary Agreement framework.  A new draft will be made available to the public in the future.

As a result, the Cooperative Boundary Agreement public comment period will be suspended and the planned Joint Public Hearing on October 13, 2026 will be cancelled and rescheduled.  Public notice will be given once those meetings are scheduled.

Efforts will continue between Troy and Hudson to enhance our collaboration opportunities and look for mutually beneficial ways to manage growth and optimize operational efficiency in our 2 municipalities.

We want to thank both communities for the engagement in this process.
